Small but great hotel, the rooms are clean and with window with lots of light and high ceilings. The breakfast is awesome, it has a bit from everything, from pastry and sweet things to eggs, ham, cheese and different types of bread. The location may be a bit far from the city center (is actually fine), but in a 15min walk you will start getting to the center. Walking south from the same hotel street, you will find a busy street with shops and restaurants. The hotel it is greatly communicated, at just 3min walking from the hotel you find a square with the metro station "Marques" where also busses depart to key points that make a great visit, such as ¨Foz Do Douro" where the beach is or the center itself. Great experience.
Clean, in good condition, helpful English speaking staff, in elegant neighborhood near a lovely park with a metro station and classy old-time buildings. I was thrilled with this place. Excellent.
Great little hotel. The attention we received was great. There is paid parking during the week in front and free on weekends. However availability is limited. You can also pay for parking with the hotel for $10 EUR a day. Breakfast was great. Don’t expect a 5 star quality food but we were incredibly satisfied with the breakfast. Overall good hotel, excellent communication, felt safe, and close to many things.
4 mins walk to metro station, or 20 mins walk into the centre. Great people, reception were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. I didn't expect much as it's a 3 star I think, and saw the pictures on Booking.com The breakfast is just continental, so I enjoyed eating out, but at least that's an option if you need it. Very comfortable mattress (firm) and pillows. Take ear plugs of you want to go to bed before 10 pm as there's a dog, but it doesn't "over do it" on the barking.
Really nice place to stay for a few nights. Good prices, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Staff making beds every day and the reception is 24/7. Breakfast is standard, which is fine for me. Easy check in and check out. Only point is it's an old building, what makes the rooms noisy. A/C works properly but there's coming out black stuff, needs to be cleaned!
Good for couple of nights not too far from the centre. The building itself and the rooms are outdated but the beds are very comfortable. Our toilet needed attention- the flushing button was getting stuck and the water was constantly running in the toilet. We requested a quiet room and we got the very last room on the top floor, thank you for that. Breakfast was mostly pastries, some cold cuts and scrambled eggs with sausages. The staff was nice however nowadays its required to understand and speak english especially in hospitality.
